We purchased this for my sons new home kitchen window. the quality of the blind was very poor, instructions were very confusing and the advised measuring to cut and install were obviously completly wrong. Even though I am an engineer by trade it took me over 3 hours and a lot of hard work to finally work through it and fit the blind. The fittings were substandard, fragile and hard to fit. The blind almost (!) went in the bin after 3 hours but with a bit of persistence I managed to get it mounted. Sadly it only lasted a week before the mechanism disintegrated and the blind jammed, and then came apart. I have had to decorate the area and purchase a set of shutter type blinds from another supplier. Do not buy this roller blind, its truley awful.
